Welcome to PowerbricksKidz. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your enrollment in, or engagement with, our STEM education program, camps, events, and related services. By accessing this website or registering for any program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

PowerbricksKidz is an authorized franchisee of Young Engineers, delivering STEM education program for children in Malaysia under license.

2. Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

3. Programme Registration & Enrollment

3.1 Eligibility

Program are offered to children within the age ranges specified for each program. Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the child.

3.2 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate and current information (including your child's age, school, and any relevant medical or behavioral information) when registering for a trial class, program, camp, or event. Inaccurate information may affect your child's participation and our ability to accommodate their needs.

3.3 Trial Classes

Trial classes are offered subject to availability and may be limited to one trial per child, at our discretion. A trial class does not guarantee a place in a full program.

3.4 Confirmation of Enrollment

Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full or scheduled payment (as applicable) and our written or system-generated confirmation.

4. Fees & Payment

  • Program, camp, and event fees are as stated at the time of registration and are subject to change for future terms or intakes.
  • Payment terms (full payment, installments, or deposits) will be communicated at the point of registration.
  • We reserve the right to suspend a child's participation in a program if fees are not paid in accordance with agreed terms.
  • All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless otherwise stated.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • Cancellations by parent/guardian: Requests to cancel or withdraw from a program, camp, or event must be submitted in writing to hello@youngengineers.com.my. Refund eligibility depends on the notice period and program-specific policy communicated at registration.
  • Rescheduling: We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests for missed classes, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations by us: If we cancel a class, camp, or event (e.g., due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances), we will offer a make-up session, credit, or refund at our discretion.
  • Specific refund policies for individual program, camps, or events will be communicated at the time of registration and take precedence over general terms stated here.
  • Subscription plans: For class subscription plans with recurring auto-charge billing, cancellation and refund terms are governed by our Subscription Policy, which takes precedence over this section.

6. Code of Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment. Parents/guardians and children are expected to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and other students with respect
  • Follow reasonable instructions given by instructors during classes, camps, or events
  • Notify us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may affect participation

We reserve the right to remove a child from a program, without refund, in cases of serious misconduct, safety concerns, or repeated disruptive behavior, at our reasonable discretion and following communication with the parent/guardian where practicable.

7. Photography, Video & Media

During classes, camps, and events, we may take photographs or videos for use in our marketing materials, website, and social media channels. We will seek separate parental/guardian consent for use of images or videos featuring your child before publishing them. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, program names, curriculum materials, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to PowerbricksKidz and/or Young Engineers, and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

"Young Engineers" and associated program names are trademarks of their respective owner and are used by PowerbricksKidz under license.

9. Tutor & Instructor Applications

By submitting a job application through this website, you confirm that the information provided is accurate. Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview or offer of employment. Applicant data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. School & Community Partnerships

Organizations engaging PowerbricksKidz for school program, workshops, or community events agree to coordinate scheduling, logistics, and any specific requirements directly with us. Separate agreements or terms may apply to partnership arrangements and will take precedence over these general Terms where applicable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We will take reasonable care in the delivery of our program but do not guarantee specific learning outcomes for any individual child.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or participation in our program, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs; we are not liable for incidents arising from undisclosed information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence, to the extent such exclusion is not permitted by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold PowerbricksKidz harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our website or services.

13. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external websites and encourage you to review their own terms and privacy policies.
