What You'll Do

As a Young Engineers Puchong tutor, you'll lead engaging, hands-on STEM sessions for children, using our official Young Engineers program materials. Day to day, this includes:
  • Delivering lessons using LEGO®-based models and structured guides
  • Managing a classroom of young learners (age groups vary by program)
  • Encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and confidence in every session
  • Communicating with parents and school partners on student progress
  • Participating in special events, school partnership sessions, camps, and community programs

Do I need a teaching qualification or engineering background?

No formal qualification is required. We provide full training on the curriculum — what matters most is your ability to connect with kids and lead a classroom confidently.
Is this full-time or part-time?

Most tutor roles are part-time and session-based, making it a great fit alongside studies or another job. Let us know your availability during the application process.
Where will I be teaching?

Sessions take place at partner schools, our own centers, and community events across our service areas in KL & Selangor. Specific locations are confirmed during onboarding based on availability.
What age groups will I be working with?

Programs span a range of age groups, from early learners to pre-teens, depending on the specific Young Engineers program you're trained on.
How soon can I start?

Timelines vary based on training schedules and current openings — our team will share specifics after your interview.

What We're Looking for

You don't need an engineering degree — you need patience, energy, and a genuine love for working with kids.
  • Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, childcare, coaching, or similar)
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting to groups of kids
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a regular class schedule
  • Interest in STEM, hands-on learning, or LEGO®-based building (training provided — no prior engineering background required)
  • Based in Puchong, Selangor and/or able to travel to session locations
