This Subscription Policy applies to parents/guardians who enrol their child in a PowerbricksKidz class subscription plan with recurring (auto-charge) billing. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By subscribing to a class plan, you agree to the terms below.

1. How Subscriptions Work

  • A class subscription plan enrols your child in ongoing classes on a monthly recurring billing cycle, rather than a one-time or per-term payment.
  • Your subscription will automatically renew and auto-charge on the 1st of every billing month to the payment method on file, until it is cancelled or expires in accordance with this Policy.
  • Subscriptions require a minimum commitment of 3 billing cycles (3 months) from the start date. See Section 3 (Cancellation Policy) for details.
  • Pausing is not available on this subscription plan. See Section 3 for cancellation terms.
  • Your child's place in the class is held only for as long as the subscription remains active and payments are successfully processed.

2. Billing Cycle & Charges

  • Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis and renew automatically on the 1st of every billing month.
  • If you sign up partway through a month, your first charge may be prorated or aligned to start from the following 1st, as communicated at sign-up.
  • Charges are processed automatically on the 1st of each month, using the payment method you provided.
  • You will receive a receipt or payment confirmation for each successful charge.
  • Subscription fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • All subscriptions require a minimum commitment of 3 billing cycles (3 months) from the start date before cancellation can take effect.
  • All subscription cancellations must be completed before the renewal date. If the cancellation request is not submitted before the renewal date, charges will continue, and no refunds will be provided.
  • After cancellation, the registration fee and any non-refundable advance payments already made will not be refunded.
  • Advance payments are applied to offset the final payment before the discontinuation of classes.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@youngengineers.com.my, or through the payment/booking portal where available.
  • Pausing a subscription is not available. Subscribers must either continue the subscription or cancel it in accordance with this Policy.

4. Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable: No refunds will be provided for any subscription cancellations.
  • Advance Payment Usage: Advance payments are exclusively used to offset the final payment before cancellation and cannot be refunded in any other form.
  • Exceptions may apply where required under Malaysian consumer protection law, or where we cancel or are unable to deliver classes during a paid cycle, in which case we will offer a make-up class or credit toward a future cycle at our discretion.

5. Payment Method

  • You must provide a valid payment method (e.g., credit/debit card, or other supported method) to activate a subscription.
  • You are responsible for keeping your payment details current. You can update your payment method by contacting us or through the payment portal, where available.
  • We use third-party payment processors to handle transactions. We do not store full card details on our own systems — see our Privacy Policy for details on payment data handling.

6. Failed Payments

  • If a scheduled auto-charge fails (e.g., due to insufficient funds, expired card, or bank decline), we will notify you and may attempt to re-process the payment.
  • Your child's place in the class may be suspended if payment is not successfully resolved within 3 days of the failed charge.
  • Repeated failed payments may result in automatic cancellation of the subscription.

7. Price Changes

  • We may adjust subscription pricing from time to time (e.g., annual fee reviews). We will provide advance notice (e.g., at least 30 days) before any price change takes effect on your subscription.
  • Continuing your subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new fee. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

8. Missed Classes

  • Our subscription plan covers a set schedule of classes each billing cycle. Please refer to your specific program's make-up class policy for how missed classes (due to absence, illness, or public holidays) are handled.
  • Missed classes generally do not entitle you to a reduction in subscription fees, unless the class was cancelled by us.

9. Subscription Expiration

  • A subscription automatically expires after 36 billing cycles (36 months) from its start date upon completion of each program.
  • We will notify you in advance of your subscription's upcoming expiration and the options available to continue your child's enrolment (e.g., re-subscribing or switching to a different program).
  • Upon expiration, auto-charging stops automatically and no further action is required to end billing.

10. Suspension or Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a subscription, with reasonable notice where practicable, in cases including:

  • Repeated failed payments
  • Breach of our Terms of Service or Code of Conduct
  • Discontinuation of a specific class program (in which case we will offer an alternative program, credit, or refund for unused paid classes)

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Subscription Policy from time to time. Material changes affecting active subscribers (such as billing terms or cancellation notice periods) will be communicated in advance. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
